We look for research that supports the Network and their efforts to shape health equity narratives. This includes studies on effective messaging strategies, community responses to health information, media analysis of health narratives and research that amplifies diverse voices and experiences in health communication.
We welcome research from diverse sources including community-based organizations, advocacy groups, communications professionals, medical institutions and independent researchers. We value both formal academic studies and practical research that emerges from real-world campaigns and community work.
Our library serves advocates, community organizations, communications professionals, healthcare providers, researchers and anyone working to improve how we talk about racial health equity in the United States.
Our Research Library exists to strengthen the Network’s collective communications strategy and coordination. By sharing your work, you are helping partners access evidence-based tools and insights that advance racial health equity.
Each submission will be clearly credited to the individuals and organizations that produced it. We also strongly encourage partners to provide appropriate attribution when sharing research within their own networks.
We maintain rigorous editorial guidelines that require research to be upfront about methodology, strengths and limitations. We prioritize studies that address important gaps in health narrative research, provide values-driven messaging and are transparent about what the research can and cannot tell us.
Our team reviews submissions and responds within 5-7 business days with next steps.
